Blazer Jobs is hiring for a paraprofessional in Nottoway, VAa tight-knit rural community with deep Civil War history and a focus on quality education in its local school district.

This role provides rewarding work assisting students with special needs in an inclusive classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work under licensed educators to implement lesson plans and behavioral goals

• Monitor and record student progress

• Assist with physical, emotional, and academic support for students

• Encourage student independence in both academic and life skills

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Must meet Virginia paraprofessional requirements:

• Associates degree, or

• 60 college semester hours, or

• Passing score on the ParaPro Assessment

• Experience with special education is preferred

• Must pass background and fingerprint checks
