Nashville, TN Seeking a passionate School Psychologist to join a school for visually impaired students in the Nashville, Tennessee area. Full-time opportunity for a 11-month contractShift: Day Shift, Monday-Friday, 7:30A-3:30P, 40 hours per week Compensation Details:

Position Overview We are actively interviewing for a full-time School Psychologist in Nashville, TN. This position will join a school for visually impaired students providing counseling, assessments and specialized psychological services. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide on-site psychological assessments to determine students needs.
- Collaborate with families and education professionals to develop and/or amend individualized education programs (IEPs).
- Develop and implement behavioral intervention plans that promote positive change.
- Provide counseling services to address social-emotional, behavioral and academic challenges in both individual and group settings.
- Work closely with an interdisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, behavior specialists, and direct care staff.
- Stay current on research and best practices regarding school psychology, visual impairment and special education.
- Assist parents in securing appropriate services outside of school settings as needed.
What You Bring:
- Master’s Degree in School Psychology
- Must hold an active School Services License in School Psychology
- Experience working with a wide range of students with visual impairments, additional disabilities and complex needs highly preferred.
- Strong collaboration and coaching skills to support both patients and staff.
