Summary
As a Lead Trainer at Progress Industries, you will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing training programs that enhance the skills and capabilities of our staff. This position is essential to our mission of empowering individuals with disabilities through effective training and support.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement comprehensive training programs tailored to the needs of person served.
- Lead onboarding and ongoing training sessions for staff.
- Oversee the onboarding process for new employees, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge.
- Utilize Learning Management Systems (LMS) to track training progress and outcomes.
- Collaborate with management to identify training needs and develop curriculum accordingly.
- Evaluate staff performance pre and post training.
- Ensure training aligns with accreditation standards (CARF, OSHA, etc.).
- Assist managers with coaching and training techniques.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through feedback and performance metrics.
- Coordinate with HR and Compliance on documentation and observations.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years experience in HCBS Residential or Human Services.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related filed.
- Experience in staff training, program oversight, and management roles.
- Proficiency in LMS platforms, Microsoft Office, and documentation systems.
- Maintain a valid Iowa Driver's License with a good driving record, and a private automobile used to carry out job duties. Hold adequate liability insurance (required: $100,000/$300,000/$50,000).
- Attend all mandatory training required of this position.
