For the 20252026 school year, we are partnering with a supportive school district in Glendale Heights, IL to fill a full-time Special Education Teacher position. This is a meaningful opportunity to work with students who need a steady, confident educator to guide their academic and social-emotional development.
Position Details
Location: Glendale Heights, IL (school site shared during interview)
Schedule: MondayFriday | 35 hours per week
Start Date: August 2025 (or per district schedule)
Hours: Full time, onsite
Caseload: Varies by placement; elementary and/or middle school levels
What Youll Do Every Day

Deliver direct instruction based on individualized education programs (IEPs)

Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in collaboration with school teams

Adapt curriculum and instructional strategies to meet diverse student needs

Communicate consistently with families, service providers, and administrators
-
Create an inclusive classroom environment focused on growth and respect

Maintain accurate documentation and meet compliance deadlines

Who Were Looking For

Illinois PEL (Professional Educator License) with LBS1 Endorsement

Experience working with students with mild to moderate disabilities preferred
