Position: Special Education Teacher
Location: New Orleans, LA
Employment Type: Full-Time

We are looking for a compassionate and committed Special Education Teacher to join our team in New Orleans. This role is ideal for an educator who is passionate about creating supportive and inclusive learning environments for students with diverse learning needs.

What Youll Do:

• Design and implement effective Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)

• Modify lessons to meet the individual needs of students

• Collaborate closely with general education teachers, parents, and support staff

• Track and report on student progress regularly

• Maintain detailed and compliant records

• Participate in team meetings, professional development, and parent conferences

What Were Looking For:

• Bachelors degree in Special Education or a related field (Masters preferred)

• Valid Louisiana Special Education teaching certification

• Experience working with students with disabilities is a plus

• Strong communication and collaboration skills

• A commitment to student success and equitable education

Pay and Benefits:
