Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Special Education Teacher position is available for the 2025-2026 school year, serving students in grades K-12. This role offers an opportunity to work at one of two school siteseither the Elementary School or the High Schoolsupporting a caseload of 12-15 students. The assignment runs from August 28, 2025, through June 11, 2026, with an approximate 37.5-hour workweek.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to meet the unique needs of students.
- Deliver specialized instruction and interventions to support academic and social development.
- Collaborate with general education teachers, families, and support staff to promote student success.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and comply with all state and federal special education regulations.
- Participate in meetings and contribute to the overall education team.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid New Hampshire Special Education (SPED) License.
- Experience working with diverse populations of students in special education settings.
- Strong knowledge of special education laws, student assessments, and instructional strategies.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage a caseload of 12-15 students with varying needs.
