Job DescriptionMinimum 1+ years deaf & hard of hearing experience required.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Education, Special Education, or related field
• Valid teaching credential in Deaf and Hard of Hearing
• Proficient in American Sign Language (ASL)
• Experience working with K-12 students, preferably in an itinerant role
• Strong munication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to adapt curriculum to meet diverse student needs

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support students' educational goals
• Provide direct instruction to students using appropriate methodologies
• Monitor and assess student progress, adapting strategies as needed
• Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance
