Location: Mesorah High School, Dallas, Texas

Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 12:00 PM–5:00 PM

Position Overview

Mesorah High School is seeking a dedicated and passionate High School English Teacher to join our team on a part-time basis. The ideal candidate will bring their expertise and enthusiasm for teaching English to inspire and educate students in a supportive and engaging environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Teach four - five English classes daily, adhering to Mesorah’s high academic standards.
  • Develop and deliver creative, engaging, and effective lesson plans that align with curriculum guidelines.
  • Assess and monitor student progress through assignments, projects, and exams.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning and growth.
  • Communicate regularly with students, parents, and school staff regarding academic progress and classroom activities.
  • Contribute to the school community by supporting extracurricular activities and events as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, or a related field.
  • 3–4 years of experience teaching English at the high school level.
  • Strong knowledge of English literature, grammar, and composition.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Passion for teaching and a commitment to student success.
