A full-time School Psychologist position is available for a contract lasting the current school year (CSY) in Columbus, OH. This role involves serving students primarily in an elementary school setting, with a schedule split between three days at an elementary school and two days at a non-public parochial school.
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting psychological assessments and evaluations to support student learning and development
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and school staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Providing counseling and intervention services for students as needed
- Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress and needs
- Ensuring compliance with Ohio Department of Education regulations and school policies
Qualifications:
- Current Ohio School Psychologist license
- Fulfillment of all Ohio Department of Education requirements related to school psychology
- Experience working with elementary school-aged children preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with diverse school communities
Work Schedule:
- Full-time, Monday through Friday
- Hours: 8:00 AM to 3:45 PM
- Split work week: 3 days onsite at an elementary school and 2 days at a non-public parochial school
