A Middle School Special Education Teacher position is available for a full academic year contract in Aurora, IL. This role focuses on providing tailored instruction and support to students with diverse learning needs within a collaborative educational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) aligned with students' unique needs and goals.
- Adapt curriculum materials to acmodate various learning styles and abilities.
- Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and support staff to promote inclusion and academic success.
- Monitor student progress and municate effectively with parents and guardians.
- Maintain a safe, structured, and positive classroom environment.

Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Special Education teaching certification.
- Experience teaching middle school students with special needs.
- Strong knowledge of special education laws, IEP processes, and instructional strategies.
