Lee Christian School is seeking a passionate and energetic Physical Education Teacher for
grades 6–12. This teacher will promote fitness, teamwork, sportsmanship, and healthy lifestyles
while modeling a Christ-like character. The ideal candidate will have a heart for discipleship, an
enthusiasm for physical activity, and the ability to mentor students both inside and outside the
gym.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach PE classes for middle and high school students, promoting physical health, skill development, and lifelong fitness.
• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with school goals and physical education standards.
• Integrate Christian values and a biblical worldview into teaching and student relationships.
• Encourage teamwork, leadership, discipline, and respect through a variety of sports and activities.
• Oversee the organization, safety, and maintenance of gym equipment and athletic spaces.
• Collaborate with faculty and administration on school-wide events, spirit days, and health initiatives.
• Participate in chapel, student mentoring, school activities, and professional development.

Qualifications:

• A personal relationship with Jesus Christ and commitment to living a Christ-centered life.
• Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education, Health Education, or a related field (required).
• Previous experience teaching or coaching middle or high school students (preferred).
• Strong classroom management and relational skills.
• Alignment with the mission, vision, and statement of faith of Lee Christian School.

Preferred:

• ACSI certification (or willingness to pursue).
• CPR/First Aid certification.
• Coaching experience in school athletics (opportunities may be available for coaching stipends).
