Job DescriptionMinimum 1+ years special education experience required.

A full-time position is available for a Special Education Teacher to support K-12 students in a self-contained classroom setting. This contract role is based in Crystal Lake, IL, and involves working 40 hours per week throughout the school year.

Responsibilities include managing a self-contained classroom with a maximum of 10 students, providing both general and 1:1 instructional support, and diligently tracking IEP goals with progress monitoring to ensure each students individualized needs are met. The ideal candidate will foster an inclusive learning environment that promotes academic growth and social development.

Required Qualifications:

• Active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL)
• Special Education License: Learning Behavior Specialist I
• Experience working with K-12 students in a special education setting
• Strong skills in IEP implementation and monitoring
• Ability to provide effective classroom management in a self-contained model
