Location: Paterson, NJ
Job Duration: 2025-2026 School Year
Schedule: Two days a week, flexible scheduling available
Hours: 7:45 AM - 4:00 PM
Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and behavioral assessments for K-5 students
- Collaborate with the child study team to develop and implement appropriate interventions
- Provide consultation to teachers, parents, and staff regarding student needs
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of student progress and intervention outes
- Support students emotional and psychological well-being through counseling and guidance
Qualifications:
- Active NJ State School Psychologist License/Certification
- Preferred two years of experience as a School Psychologist
- Strong knowledge of educational psychology and assessment techniques
- Excellent interpersonal and munication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- Experience with K-5 students is a plus
