Job Summary
Pleasant Hill Academy, INC is seeking a passionate and mission-minded Athletics Director who will oversee and lead all aspects of the schools athletic programs. The ideal candidate will be a spiritually grounded leader who values both physical education and character formation. This role requires a dedicated professional who is capable of inspiring students, managing athletic staff, and promoting sportsmanship and integrity on and off the field.

You have a background in sports and are passionate about helping student-athletes reach their potential. With a talent for building communication, skill, and motivation in student teams, you are able to provide effective group and individual instruction to create exceptional experiences to help students grow.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, organize, and conduct practices
  • Provide training direction, encouragement, motivation, and nutritional advice to prepare athletes for games and competitive events
  • Adjust coaching techniques based on individual athletes
  • Instruct individuals or groups in rules, strategies, and performance principles
  • Use data-driven instruction in the teaching/learning process
  • Build an engaging and safe environment for all student-athletes

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Education(or currently acquiring degree) or related field (preferred but not required )
  • Valid teaching certification (preferred but not required).
  • Successful coaching or teacher leadership experience preferred
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.
  • A committed Christian with a demonstrated alignment with the school's mission and values.
  • Passionate about Christian education and student discipleship.
  • Exemplary presentation and facilitation skills
  • Background in sports (athletics, fitness, physical education, etc.)
