ProCare Therapy is a leader in educational staffing, dedicated to connecting skilled professionals with school communities in need. Our team is currently seeking an experienced School Psychologist to serve students across multiple campuses in the Manassas, Virginia area for the 20252026 school year.
Position Overview:
This is a full-time, in-person itinerant position requiring 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday. The psychologist will support four school sites located within two campuses (each roughly 2 miles apart), working with students from PreK through 12th grade. The role focuses on behavioral interventions, mental health support, and promoting social-emotional learning.
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct psychological evaluations and participate in IEP and eligibility meetings

Develop and monitor behavior intervention plans (BIPs)

Collaborate with educators and administrators to implement social-emotional learning strategies

Provide direct and consultative support to students and staff for mental health and behavioral concerns

Travel between campuses as needed to support assigned schools

Document services and maintain compliance with all relevant policies and timelines
Requirements:

Active School Psychologist license issued by the Virginia Department of Education

Proven experience in a school-based psychology setting (training will not be provided)

Strong background in behavioral interventions, SEL, and mental health practices

Ability to work independently and adapt quickly in a dynamic school environment
