Assertive Community Treatment Peer Recovery Support Specialist needed for the ACT team to work with a team of professionals in assisting individuals diagnosed with a serious mental illness to remain successful in the community. This position provides recovery support services to individuals engaged in behavioral health services with the Assertive Community Treatment. The Peer Support Specialist will provide outreach, support, and advocacy to assist individuals in accessing community supports and resources, behavioral health treatment, and recovery resources to improve the individual's quality of life. Must be a Certified Peer Recovery Specialist or meets DBHDS requirements for Certified Peer Recovery Specialist or be able to obtain this certification after hire. Some evening, weekend and holiday hours required. Salary is commensurate with education and experience as it relates to the position.
