Key Functions

• Evaluate students referred for speech, language, and communication challenges.

• Design and implement therapy sessions that support both academic and functional success.

• Write and manage Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) with a focus on student-centered goals.

• Serve as a collaborative team member in special education planning and service delivery.

• Engage families, caregivers, and staff with clear communication and expert insight.

• Keep thorough and compliant records of services provided and student progress.

• Stay informed on Washington state regulations and best practices in school-based speech services.
