Summary

Seeking creative, energetic, reliable, and experienced caregivers for the well-established, licensed Before-and-After-School program, “Morley Extended Day Care” (MEDC) at Morley Elementary School in West Hartford.

Part-time positions are available starting ASAP! Morning hours are available Monday-Friday 7:00-8:45 AM. Afternoon hours are available 3:00-5:00 PM on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays; 1:45-5:00 PM on Wednesdays. Schedules can be flexible depending on the applicant’s needs and availability.

Duties

Planning and supervising outdoor and indoor activities, providing homework support, guiding behavior and mentoring children in grades K-5.

Requirements

Must be 16 years or older with preference given to applicants 18 years and older. Must have experience working with children. Coursework in education or a related field is preferred. Applicants must be willing to submit to State and Federal background checks as well as a medical evaluation and TB test, in compliance with State licensing regulations.

Morley Extended Day Care, Inc. (MEDC) was founded in the 1970s and is an established and licensed before- and after- school program, located at Edward Morley Elementary School in West Hartford, Connecticut. Our childcare program is for school-aged children (ages 5-12) Kindergarten-Grade 5.
