This full-time, onsite role focuses on providing tailored instruction and assistance to higher incidence students, specifically in the areas of autism and communication disorders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Special Education or related field.
- Valid teaching certification in Special Education, LBS1 preferred.
- Experience working with students with autism and communication disorders.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to implement individualized education programs (IEPs) effectively.
- Collaborative mindset to work alongside instructional aides and other staff.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement IEPs that reflect each student's unique needs.
- Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to create an inclusive learning environment.
- Provide direct instruction and support to students with varying disabilities.
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting strategies as needed.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student development.
- Support and mentor instructional aides in the classroom setting.
