A full-time Special Education Teacher position is available for the 2021-2022 school year in Greenville, SC. This contract role offers the opportunity to support students with diverse learning needs in an educational setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each students unique abilities and learning goals.
• Adapt instructional materials and teaching strategies to meet the varying needs of special education students.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and support staff to ensure a cohesive learning environment.
• Monitor and track student progress, providing appropriate interventions and modifications.
• Maintain accurate records in pliance with school policies and legal requirements.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that promotes student growth and self-esteem.

Qualifications:

• Valid teaching certification in Special Education.
• Experience working with students with disabilities in a school environment.
• Strong understanding of federal and state special education laws and regulations.
• Excellent munication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented setting.
