A specialized teaching opportunity is available for an educator certified to work with Deaf and Hard of Hearing students in a K-12 setting. This contract position serves one elementary and one high school student, providing personalized educational support tailored to their unique needs.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Must hold Georgia PSC certification as a Deaf and Hard of Hearing Teacher
- Candidates with reciprocal state licenses are also welcomed
- Experience working with Deaf and Hard of Hearing students across elementary and high school levels is highly valued
Position Details:
- Location: Atlanta, GA
- Contract duration: July 7, 2025, to May 27, 2026
- Schedule: Part-time, 15 hours per week, 2 days per week with the flexibility to create your own schedule
- Compensation: $32-38 per hour
- Age group: One elementary student and one high school student
Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized instruction and support to meet auditory and communication needs
- Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with educational standards
- Monitor student progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly
- Collaborate with families and support staff to foster student development
