Job DescriptionWe are new owners seeking a dedicated and passionate Infant Room Preschool Teacher to join our team! We are deeply focused on creating a strong staff culture. We want everyone to feel supported, and able to build a healthy work/life balance.
Responsibilities:
- Diapering
- Following individual feeding schedules, and individual needs - updated by the parents
- Assists and supervises children during ALL activities
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans
- Provide individualized attention and support to each child based on their unique needs and abilities
- Utilize various teaching methods and materials to enhance learning experiences
- Monitor and assess each child's progress, documenting observations and maintaining accurate records
- Completes all academy and classroom paperwork: daily notes, student accident reports, attendance reports, etc
- Follows Kiddie Academy and PA state regulations on all health and safety policies and regulations
- Maintain a clean, organized, and stimulating classroom environment that is conducive to learning- Assists children with mealtimes and clean-up
- Ensures classroom medication schedule is followed, when applicable
- Attends and participates in staff meetings, academy events, and parent meetings

Experience:- Previous experience working with preschool-aged children in a childcare or daycare setting (1 year).- Associates or Bachelors degree, preferred, but not required- Knowledge of early childhood education principles, theories, and best practices- Strong understanding of child development milestones and the ability to adapt teaching strategies accordingly- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written- Ability to effectively manage a classroom setting while maintaining a positive and nurturing atmosphere
Qualifications and Certifications:- Must be 18yrs, or older- U.S. work authorization, if applicable
- FBI fingerprinting- NSOR- PA State Police- PA child abuse- Mandatory Reporter Training
