This position is responsible for overseeing daily program operations, ensuring effective outreach, participant engagement, and service delivery while supervising staff and fostering professional development. This position also monitors program performance, ensures compliance with organizational standards, and collaborates with the Program Manager and community partners to enhance services and meet program goals by performing the following duties.
Job Duties
- Ensures daily operations align with the program's goals and objectives.
- Oversees outreach efforts, ensures staff effectively engage individuals and provides appropriate referrals.
- Supports frontline staff in resolving challenges related to participant engagement and service delivery.
- Monitors program performance and provides recommendations for improvements to the Program manager.
- Ensures all services follow trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and strengths-based approaches.
- Directly supervises outreach and mentoring staff, provides support and professional development.
- Conducts team meetings and one-on-one check-ins to ensure accountability and effectiveness.
- Addresses staff concerns and performance issues in collaboration with the Program Manager.
- Ensures staff compliance with organizational policies and service delivery standards.
- Assists in compiling internal reports to track program performance and challenges.
- Ensures timely and accurate documentation of program activities in line with reporting guidelines.
- Provides necessary updates to the Program Manager for grant reporting.
- Coordinates with internal teams and community partners to support effective service delivery.
- Represents the program in internal meetings and contribute insights for program improvements.
- Collaborates with the Program Manager to ensure community partnerships align with program goals.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities
Directly supervises employees and carries out supervisory responsibilities following the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; and rewarding and disciplining employees.
Experience/Education
A high school diploma or GED is required for this role. In addition to the education requirement, this position requires two years related experience in program coordination, case management, outreach, or mentoring services, in addition to one year of lived experience. An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be used to satisfy these requirements.
