Role Description Floater Assistant Teacher (Flexible Hours):
We are currently hiring a Floater Assistant Teachera flexible, dependable team member who can step in where needed throughout the day. This position requires someone who enjoys variety in their workday, is available for a range of shifts, and thrives in a team-based environment. Shifts may vary between 5:00 AM and 11:30 PM, so schedule flexibility is essential.

Required Qualifications:
Education & Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous childcare experience is a plus.

Certifications:

  • CPR certification required (or willingness to obtain).
  • TB test and physical required (preferably completed before starting).
  • Background check mandatory.

Skills & Traits:

  • Flexibility with work hours and willingness to work various shifts.
  • Team-oriented, reliable, and proactive.
  • Patient, caring, and adaptable to working with different age groups.
  • Ability to stand, bend, lift, and remain active throughout shifts.

Responsibilities:

  • Fill in across classrooms to assist lead teachers and maintain child-to-staff ratios.
  • Support children with daily routines including meals, toileting, activities, and naps.
  • Help implement age-appropriate games, crafts, and educational activities.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe learning environment.
  • Encourage positive behavior and social skills through active engagement.
  • Communicate effectively with coworkers and provide updates to parents when needed.
  • Comply with all safety protocols, health policies, and training requirements.

Pay Rate:

  • $13.75 per hour
