A full-time School Psychologist position is available for the 2025-2026 school year, serving an elementary TK-5th grade school within a K-12 setting in San Francisco, CA. This contract role offers a unique split schedule, with three days per week dedicated to working directly with the elementary school and two days focused on conducting private school evaluations or supporting other school psychologists.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting prehensive psychological assessments and evaluations
- Writing detailed reports based on assessment findings
- Participating in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings
- Attending school support meetings such as COST and SST
- Providing leadership and guidance to the special education team on-site
- Collaborating with educators, parents, and administrators to support student success
Desired qualifications and experience:
- Certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
- Experience working with elementary-aged students (TK-5)
- Strong assessment and report-writing skills
- Familiarity with IEP processes and special education laws
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent munication and organizational skills
This role follows a traditional school schedule, with hours from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday during the regular school year.
