A rewarding opportunity is available for a Special Education Teacher specializing in early childhood education to work with 3-4 year-old children during the 2025-2026 school year. This contract position focuses on fostering developmental growth and learning in a nurturing early childhood school environment.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans tailored to the needs of each child
- Deliver engaging, age-appropriate instruction that supports cognitive, social, and emotional development
- Collaborate with support staff, families, and specialists to promote inclusive learning experiences
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation
- Create a safe and supportive classroom atmosphere conducive to learning and growth
Qualifications:
- Valid teaching certification in Special Education
- Experience working with young children, specifically ages 3-4
- Knowledge of early childhood developmental milestones and strategies
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Patience and dedication to fostering children's individual growth
Location: Richton Park, IL
Schedule:
- August 19, 2025 to June 3, 2026
- Hours: 7:15 AM to 2:25 PM
- Contract role for the full school year
Interviews will be conducted during the week of April 14, excluding Tuesday and Friday.
