Qualifications:
- Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field
- Valid state licensure or certification as a School Psychologist
- Experience working with K-12 students
- Strong assessment and evaluation skills
- Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Excellent munication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of mental health issues and interventions in school settings
Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational assessments and interpret results
- Provide counseling and support services to students and families
- Collaborate with educators and staff to create a supportive learning environment
- Develop and implement behavior intervention plans (BIPs)
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to IEP processes
- Provide training and resources to staff regarding mental health best practices
- Engage in crisis intervention and provide emergency support as needed
