Job DescriptionAs a summer intern at Glidewell, you will:

Essential Functions:
- Support the research and development of resin formulations for 3D printing applications in dental devices.
- Assist in designing and executing test methods to evaluate formulation performance and analyze results.
- Prepare and mix experimental resin formulations in a wet lab environment, following proper safety and handling protocols.
- Perform testing to assess the physical and mechanical properties of resins, including data collection and documentation.
- Contribute to laboratory investigations and propose improvements to formulations or processes based on findings.
- Collaborate with R&D team members in the development and innovation of new polymer-based products.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in Chemistry, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- Fundamental understanding of polymer chemistry and related material science principles.
- Familiarity with standard laboratory practices, procedures, and safety protocols; ability to operate and maintain laboratory equipment.
- Hands-on experience working with polymer materials and 3D printing technologies.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
Pay Range: $21.00-$33.00/hr Exact compensation varies based on level of education.
