Full-Time School Psychologist Columbus, NE

Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced and qualified School Psychologists for a full-time position with school districts in the Columbus, Nebraska area. We are seeking professionals dedicated to supporting student mental health and academic success through assessments, counseling, and collaboration with educators and families.

Minimum Requirements:

Applicants must meet all local and state requirements to be considered:

  • Hold a Masters degree or higher in School Psychology or Educational Psychology from an accredited program

  • Possess a current and valid Nebraska Department of Education (NDE) Special Services Certificate with an endorsement in School Psychology

  • Must have previous experience working as a School Psychologist, preferably in a K-12 school setting

  • Complete and pass a criminal background check, child abuse clearance, and fingerprint clearance as required by Nebraska state law and the local school district

  • Fulfill all district onboarding requirements and participate in required trainings and professional development

Applicants who do not meet these requirements will not be considered.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological and academic evaluations

  • Interpret assessment results and contribute to eligibility and IEP team decisions

  • Provide consultation services to teachers, parents, and administrators

  • Deliver individual and group counseling to support student social-emotional needs

  • Assist in the development of behavioral intervention plans

  • Support crisis intervention and prevention efforts

  • Promote a positive and inclusive school climate
