Job Summary:
The Wellness Coordinator (WC) is a member of the Vail Resorts Employee Housing team focused on the execution of the Wellness Strategy in alignment with the Wellness Manager and Wellness Supervisor. The Wellness Team's overall mission is to support employee housing staff and residents in meeting current and future needs and providing an experience of a lifetime. The Wellness Team focuses on building welcoming communities and meaningful relationships focused on creating a safe, inclusive, and vibrant housing environment. As part of the Wellness Strategy, the Wellness Coordinator provides support and empowers the residents in Employee Housing by serving as a resource, role model, and advocate.

Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for executing and supporting the Vail Resorts wellness strategy in employee housing for current and future success
- Deliver standardized wellness programs anchored to the Employee Housing Programming Model based on the Eight Dimensions of Wellness and Vail Resorts’ Missions/Values across the Resort(s) ensuring alignment with enterprise-wide strategy
- Elevate experience for residents/employees and housing staff through community-building events, while driving the seasonal Employee Value Proposition
- Plan, facilitate, document, and evaluate Employee Housing wide social, recreational, and educational events
- Help residents navigate transitions and offer resources around mental/physical wellness
- Mediate conflict and help residents to create a respectful living environment
- Management and timely response to resident requests submitted through our EpicEmployee platform within required timeframes
- Create, manage, and track resident support cases including roommate conflict/mediation, EAP resources, and physical/mental health.
- Understand, communicate, and enforce community safety, support emergency response referral services and resources
- May be required to assist other housing teams as necessary (including but not limited to front desk operations, occupancy management, unit/building needs, resident arrival, etc.)
- Contribute to the Vail Resorts Employee Housing “The Navigator” Monthly Newsletter, as requested by the Wellness Supervisor.
- Actively participate in community engagement opportunities to build relationships with residents by being present, visible, and available while maintaining an Interaction Log
- In some instances, partner internally with Employee Relations, Wellness Supervisor, HRBP, and Housing and externally through community resources to help employees best navigate concerns and deescalate any high-level situations
- Assist in creating and managing external relationships with community partners, mental health resources, and law enforcement
- Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
- Graduate, Bachelor’s, or Associate's degree or diploma in progress or completed from an accredited college or university or equivalent combination of education or experience.
- Customer service experience through effective interpersonal communications, both verbal and written, with internal and external stakeholders
- Experience with high risk & vulnerable populations preferred
- Experience with mediation & conflict resolution preferred
- Experience working with people within a mental health capacity
- Experience in event planning and execution preferred
- Valid Driver's license
- Proficient computer skills, especially Excel, Teams, and PowerPoint
- English strong written and verbal mandatory
The expected Total Compensation for this role is $20.00/hr - $23.23/hr. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.

Vail Resorts offers a ‘Hybrid’ work environment where employees living within 50 miles of the Broomfield office work on-site Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and have flexibility to work off-site on Mondays and Fridays. Employees living outside of a commutable distance can work remotely from British Columbia, Washington D.C., and the 16 U.S. states* in which we currently operate.
