Job Summary
Inclusive play based child care center for children aged 6 weeks to 12 years old

Your job will include encouraging creativity, fostering independence, and nurturing the children. There is no job more important in the world. The right individuals have equal parts enthusiasm and patience and should feel at home with paint on their fingers and books in their hands.


Responsibilities

  • Help execute games and activities that are developmentally appropriate
  • Follow a daily and weekly schedule
  • Provide basic care and caregiving activities
  • Communicate with parents and update them on their children’s activities

Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a daycare teacher or childcare provider
  • Strong understanding of child development
  • Patient, kind, and nurturing
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills
  • First aid/CPR certified

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in early childhood education, child development, or a child-related field
  • Montessori credential with 480 hours of experience
  • Associate’s degree or higher in early childhood education or child development
  • Valid child development associate credential (CDA) with 480 hours of experience
