An opportunity exists for a dedicated professional specializing in the diverse needs of students within a K-8 educational environment. This contract position runs from July 29, 2025, to May 15, 2026, and involves working closely with an interrelated special education team to provide tailored support to 11 students.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Special Education
- Valid state certification in Special Education
- Previous experience working with K-8 students
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
Location:
Ulysses, KS
Responsibilities:
- Assess and evaluate students special education needs, creating comprehensive IEPs.
- Collaborate with other educators and support staff to deliver integrated services.
- Provide direct instruction and support to students in accordance with their IEPs.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of student progress and outcomes.
- Engage with students, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
