A full-time opportunity is available for a Special Education Teacher specializing in behavioral support for students in grades 6 through 8. This contract position, located in Phoenix, AZ, runs from ASAP through the end of the school year (EOSY). The role focuses on delivering individualized instruction and behavioral interventions to support the unique learning needs of middle school students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to behavioral and academic goals for each student.
• Apply evidence-based behavioral strategies to foster a positive and productive classroom environment.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including counselors and support staff, to address student needs effectively.
• Monitor student progress and adjust instructional methods and interventions as needed.
• Maintain detailed documentation and comply with all special education regulations and reporting requirements.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification with experience in behavioral interventions.
