Job DescriptionMinimum 1+ years paraprofessional or special education experience required.

In an engaging educational environment in Kalamazoo, MI, professionals are sought to provide dedicated support to K-12 students through one-on-one paraprofessional services. This contract position runs from September 2, 2025, to June 12, 2026, offering an opportunity to make a significant impact in students' lives.

Qualifications:

  • Valid ETS ParaPro Assessment certification or an Associate's degree along with previous experience in a similar role.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on building positive relationships with students and staff.
  • Experience working with diverse student populations, particularly in one-on-one settings.
  • Reliable transportation to and from the school.

Location:Kalamazoo, MI

Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized support to students with special needs, fostering an inclusive learning environment.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other staff to implement personalized education plans (IEPs).
  • Assist students with daily tasks and learning activities, promoting their academic and social development.
  • Maintain documentation of student progress and communicate effectively with educational staff.
  • Support students during transitions, including arrival and departure from school.
