Job DescriptionMinimum 1+ years school psychologist experience required.
In a dynamic K-12 educational environment located in Plano, TX, professionals are sought to provide essential psychological services to students. This role focuses on addressing the diverse needs of a caseload of approximately 10 students, primarily within the K-8 population.
Qualifications:
- Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field
- Valid Texas School Psychologist License
- Experience working with K-12 students, particularly in counseling and assessments
- Strong munication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and other professionals
- Proficient in conducting assessments and developing individualized education plans (IEPs)
Location:
- Plano, TX
Responsibilities:
- Provide psychological assessments and interventions for students as needed
- Offer counseling services for approximately five hours a week
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress and strategies
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to support student learning and well-being
- Maintain accurate records of assessments, interventions, and student progress
- Engage with parents and guardians regarding student needs and support services
