Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver age-appropriate lessons and activities aligned with early childhood learning standards
- Create a welcoming classroom where children feel secure, respected, and encouraged to explore
- Promote physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development through structured and unstructured activities
- Maintain discipline and establish routines that encourage positive behavior and cooperation
- Observe, assess, and document children’s growth, behaviors, and learning progress using appropriate tools and methods
- Build strong partnerships with families through regular updates, parent-teacher conferences, and progress reports
- Follow all health, hygiene, and safety protocols, including maintaining a clean and organized classroom
- Work with fellow teachers, aides, and school administrators to support school goals and share best practices
- Modify activities to accommodate children with diverse learning needs and developmental levels
- Participate in ongoing training, workshops, and staff meetings to stay current with early childhood education trends.
Qualifications
- 18 years or older
- Previous experience in a preschool or child care learning facility
- Preferred knowledge of childcare licensing requirements
Pay: $15.00-$20.00/hour based on education and experience
