Job DescriptionMinimum 1+ years speech therapy experience required.

A unique opportunity exists for a skilled professional specializing in speech-language pathology within a K-12 educational setting. This contract position is based in Liberal, KS, and is focused on providing comprehensive support to students requiring speech and language intervention.

Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field.
• Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
• Experience working with K-12 students preferred.
• Strong assessment, diagnostic, and therapeutic skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and other professionals.
• Knowledge of special education laws and regulations.

Location:

Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify students speech and language needs.
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students requiring services.
• Provide direct therapy to students in accordance with their IEPs.
• Collaborate with teaching staff to integrate speech and language goals into the classroom.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and interventions.
• Communicate regularly with parents regarding their childs progress and needs.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and professional development opportunities.
