POSITION OVERVIEW

This full-time teaching position includes retirement benefits, full healthcare coverage, and professional development opportunities. Lower Elementary Teachers work closely with Instructional Assistants to foster a nurturing and engaging learning environment. As a Montessori educator at ECMCS, you will have the autonomy to guide student learning while collaborating with a supportive team of professionals.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Plan and implement Montessori-aligned instruction that meets students' academic and social needs
• Create a positive, organized, and engaging classroom environment
• Support students' individualized learning journeys while fostering independence
• Maintain strong communication with students, families, and colleagues
• Contribute to school-wide initiatives, team collaboration, and professional development

QUALIFICATIONS

• SC Elementary Teaching Certification (or a pathway to completion)
• Lower Elementary Montessori Certification (School-sponsored training available)
• Prior teaching experience (Montessori experience preferred but not required)
• A passion for student growth and a commitment to Montessori principles

WORK SCHEDULE

This is a full-time position. Hours are 7:30-3:15.
