A full-time school psychologist position is available for the remainder of the current school year, located in Escondido, CA, serving a high school caseload. This contract role offers the opportunity to work with a diverse student population, focusing on supporting students' academic, emotional, and behavioral development.
Responsibilities include conducting comprehensive psychological assessments, developing individualized education plans (IEPs), collaborating with teachers, administrators, and families, and providing counseling and intervention services to enhance student well-being and success. The psychologist will also contribute to crisis intervention, data analysis, and program development aimed at improving school climate and student outcomes.
Desired qualifications and experience:
- Valid credential or license in school psychology
- Experience working with high school students in a public school setting
- Proficiency in conducting psychoeducational evaluations and interpreting assessment data
- Knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and best practices
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
