Job DescriptionMinimum 1+ years school psychologist experience required.
ProCare Therapy is seekinga licensed School Psychologist to support K-12students academic, social, and emotional growth in Belfast, ME. Collaborate with educators, families, and students to deliver assessments, interventions, counseling, and IEP support that foster student success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational evaluations to assess cognitive, academic, behavioral, social-emotional, and adaptive functioning
- Participate in the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), 504 Plans, and other support plans
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, parents, and other professionals to develop interventions and supports for students
- Provide counseling, behavioral interventions, and crisis response as needed
- Analyze data to evaluate the effectiveness of interventions and student progress
- Support Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) and Response to Intervention (RTI) efforts
- Promote positive behavior and mental health in the school environment
- Assist in the identification of students with disabilities and provide appropriate recommendations
Qualifications:
- Masters in School Psychology
- Active Maine School Psychologist license
- Maine DOE certification
- Experience with elementary/middle school students preferred
- Strong communication and confidentiality skills
