A Special Education teaching opportunity is available in Timmonsville, SC, within a school setting. This contract position offers both full-time and full school year engagements, with roles available on-site at the high school and middle school levels.
Responsibilities include:
- Delivering specialized instruction in self-contained multi-categorical settings at the high school level, managing up to 15 students.
- Providing resource support at the middle school level, serving up to 33 students.
- Implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) to meet diverse student needs.
- Collaborating with staff and families to support student success.
Qualifications:
- Must hold a valid multi-categorical or Learning Disabilities (LD) teaching license.
- Experience working with special education students in self-contained and resource settings.
- Ability to manage classroom environments effectively.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
