Job DescriptionMinimum 1+ years visually impaired experience required.

Qualifications:
- Certified Orientation and Mobility Specialist (S)
- Experience working with children, particularly in a school setting
- Proficient in Braille and assistive technology
- Strong collaboration skills
- Ability to develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
Location:Joliet, IL
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to determine students' visual needs and learning styles.
- Develop and deliver individualized instruction in braille, orientation and mobility, and assistive technology.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other specialists to create and implement IEPs.
- Provide ongoing support and training for staff regarding visual impairment strategies.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and instructional plans.
