A middle school requires a dedicated Special Education Teacher to support students with moderate to severe needs in a Life Skills program near Greenville, TX. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) to address the unique needs of 12-15 middle school students.
- Collaborate with two education aides to facilitate daily learning activities and support student progress.
- Adapt instructional methods and materials to enhance learning for students with moderate to severe disabilities.
- Monitor and assess student performance, maintaining accurate records in pliance with mandated guidelines.
- municate regularly with families and school staff to ensure coordinated support and progress tracking.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Certification in Special Education with experience teaching middle school students.
- Proficiency in life skills instruction and strategies for moderate to severe disabilities.
- Ability to work effectively with educational aides and other team members.
- Strong organizational skills and the capacity to manage multiple student needs.
Location and Schedule:
- Position is located near Greenville, TX.
- Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM (37.5 hours per week).
