Summary
We are looking for a Teacher for the Infant/ Toddler classrooms to add to an awesome team for a BRAND NEW CHILD CARE FACILITY in Rosendale, WI.
We are creating a much-needed safe space within a local community that has need for a childcare center. We are a small local owned childcare center looking for amazing team members that want to educate, enrich, and help our communities children learn and grow.
The Teacher could would support the other teachers and the Director by helping to create a caring and safe environment for the children and assisting in activities to improve the overall care and quality of education. S/he must be able to communicate, listen and work well with others in a team environment. Assisting the staff in implementing a quality educational program and in developing positive relationships with the children and their parents, the teacher observes and documents children's interest and progress, and relays that information back to parents and staff. Teachers are responsible for implementing developmentally appropriate activities based on children's interests and needs under the direction of the Co Teachers and the Director.
Countryside Learning Center is open from 6:30am-5:30pm
Monday-Friday.
HOURS FOR THIS POSITION FALL BETWEEN 2:00pm Start and 5/530 end with the option for one 10 hour day in the infant room.
Duties
- Assist in the implementation of curricula activities and encourage participation by children.
- Actively engage in activities; manage cleanliness, order, and availability of classroom materials.
- Maintain frequent communications with parents through informal discussions and progress reports.
- Encourage self-help and good hygiene through behavior modeling.
- Help ensure smooth, daily transition from home to child care center.
- Follow all center policies and state regulations.
- Maintain personal professional development plan to ensure continuous quality improvement.
Requirements
Minimum of 1-2 years of professional childcare experience preferred but we will train the right person.
·High school diploma or equivalent is required.
·Certification in First Aid/ Infant Child CPR/ AED required, must be maintained by recertification as necessary, WILL certify if do not have.
·Must pass criminal background check/ fingerprinting/ health screening.
·Strong oral and written communication skills and basic computer skills.
·Ability to work well with others (staff, children, and parents) and to foster a team environment.
·A strong understanding of child development.
·Excellent leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Nice To Haves
- Lead/ Assistant teacher certified classes or certification on the Wisconsin Registry is preferred but will provide the classes for the right person.
- Must be able to lift 35 pounds.
- Must be able to stand on their feet for 8-10 hours a day.
- Prolonged periods of standing, and frequent bending

*Continuing Education reimbursement per year up to 75$.
SIGN ON BONUS AFTER 90day.
