Overview:
We are seeking two dedicated and qualified Special Education Teachers to join our team, working with students ages 8-18. The ideal candidates will work in an alternative/transitional setting using a hybrid service delivery model to provide both push-in and pull-out support.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with diverse needs

Provide instructional support through differentiated instruction and accommodations

Collaborate with general education staff, related service providers, and families
-
Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly
-
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local special education requirements
Qualifications:
-
Bachelors degree in Special Education or related field (Masters degree preferred)

Active State Professional Educator License Full IS License only (no substitute credentials accepted)

Completion of Science of Reading training is required

Experience working with high school students in alternative or transitional programs

Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation

Excellent collaboration and communication skills
Preferred Skills:

Experience with assistive technology and adaptive learning tools

Knowledge of behavioral support strategies

Ability to adapt instruction within both push-in and pull-out models
