Job DescriptionMinimum 1+ years special education experience required.

An opportunity is available for a dedicated Special Education Teacher to support students with diverse learning needs in a structured educational setting for the full spring semester. This full-time position requires 37.5 hours per week and spans from January 6th through May 30th, 2024.

Location: Ranchos De Taos, NM
Duration: Full semester contract (2nd semester)
Schedule: Full time, 37.5 hours per week

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid PreK Special Education License
  • Completion of HB 128 Forms
  • Experience working with students needing special education support

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each students strengths and needs
  • Deliver specialized instruction and modify curriculum materials to enhance learning opportunities
  • Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to foster student growth and success
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate regularly with parents and school administrators
  • Work onsite to provide direct instructional support and intervention as needed, ensuring compliance with district policies and state regulations
