Position Overview
This remote School Psychologist position focuses on providing essential psychological services to K-12 students through virtual platforms. The role emphasizes evidence-based assessment and intervention while supporting student mental health and educational success.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct prehensive psychoeducational evaluations using virtual assessment protocols
- Provide individual and group counseling services through secure digital platforms
- Collaborate with IEP teams to develop appropriate educational programming
- Offer crisis intervention and mental health support services
- Consult with teachers and families regarding student behavioral and emotional needs
- Participate in virtual multidisciplinary team meetings and case conferences
- Maintain detailed documentation of psychological services and student progress
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in School Psychology or related field
- Current Michigan school psychologist licensure
- 2+ years of school-based psychological services experience
- Proficiency with virtual assessment tools and telepsychology platforms
- Strong background in psychological assessment and intervention
- Knowledge of special education laws and procedures
- Excellent munication and interpersonal skills
