Position Overview: The Admissions Director will oversee and manage the admissions department, set admissions targets, and track KPI's to analyze data insights. This role is both strategic and operational, requiring strong leadership and a deep understanding of systems and team management. The DOA fosters a culture of excellence on the admissions floor and serves as a vital link between internal departments.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Strategy

Lead and manage the entire admissions process, ensuring timely and accurate patient intake.

Develop, implement, and continuously improve admissions protocols and workflows.
- Oversee daily operations of the admissions department, ensuring admissions practices are compliant with HIPAA, state, and federal regulations.
- Set the tone on the admissions floor to foster a spirit of excellence and accountability.
Goal Setting & Metrics

Track, analyze, and improve key performance indicators such as inquiry-to-admission conversion rates, response times, and occupancy levels.

Use data insights to inform strategic decisions and team training.
Employee Development & Empowerment
- Foster a strong, supportive team culture.
- Identify and address individual areas of improvement while recognizing strengths.
- Provide tailored coaching and mentorship to team members.
Lead Tracking & Performance Monitoring
- Monitor and track all admissions leads and conversions.
- Ensure accurate, real-time data reporting
Collaboration & Communication
- Work closely with clinical and executive leadership to coordinate client admissions based on bed availability and insurance qualifications.
- Manage client needs and accommodations, collaborating with other departments as necessary.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in admissions, with at least 2 years in behavioral health or substance abuse treatment.
- Proficiency in Kipu and Zoho is preferred.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
