This full-time special education teaching opportunity is based in Hanover, KS, serving a K-12 school environment. The position involves working in a resource room setting with a caseload of nine students across various grade levels, offering both push-in and pull-out support. Students range from Pre-Kindergarten through 11th grade, representing diverse learning needs.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering individualized instruction in a resource room setting for students with special education needs.
- Providing both push-in and pull-out support to accommodate student learning styles and classroom environments.
- Developing and implementing IEPs tailored to each student's educational goals.
- Collaborating with general education teachers and school staff to support inclusive practices.
- Monitoring student progress and adapting strategies to ensure academic growth.
Qualifications and desired experience:
- Active Kansas Special Education Credential required.
- Experience working with students in elementary, middle, and high school levels.
- Ability to manage a small caseload of students across multiple grade levels.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
