Location: Douglas, WY (On-site) Dates: August 4, 2025 May 22, 2026 Schedule: Full-time, 3540 hours per week; typical school hours Caseload: Middle school students
Role Summary
Deliver special education services in a student-focused middle school setting. Candidates should have a Wyoming PTSB teaching certificate and experience working with diverse learners, including those with developmental, cognitive, and emotional needs.
Core Responsibilities

Create and implement IEPs, 504 plans, and behavior intervention strategies.
</li>
<li>
Provide differentiated instruction and support, both in standard and resource environments.
</li>
<li>
Track progress, maintain compliance documentation, and report on student outcomes.
</li>
<li>
Partner with general educators, related services (speech, OT/PT), behavioral health professionals, and families.
</li>
<li>
Adapt instruction to meet the individual needs of students within a collaborative team framework.
</li>
</ul>
Required Credentials
<ul>
<li>
Valid Wyoming PTSB teaching certificate (Special Ed endorsement preferred)
</li>
<li>
Experience teaching middle school students with disabilities
</li>
<li>
Proven ability to work effectively in-person and in a collaborative, multidisciplinary team
</li>
